The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the ability of various electronic devices to connect and exchange data with each other via the internet without manual input. This connectivity is so simple that we can control and operate electronic devices remotely through the internet.
This also allows for integration with other applications, leading to the development of various "Smart" technologies such as Smart Devices, Smart Grids, Smart Homes, Smart Networks, and Smart Intelligent Transportation. This differs significantly from the past, where electronic devices served only as intermediaries for transmitting and displaying information.
